Bacchanal Buffet was hyped up as one of the best buffets in Las Vegas, and overall, I’d say it delivered. For the price, I was satisfied because there was honestly more variety than I expected. Some of the cuts of meat were definitely hit or miss, and a few dishes didn’t quite meet my expectations. But the huge variety, overall taste, atmosphere, and especially the desserts are where Bacchanal really shines. There were some creative dishes that weren’t necessarily for me, but I appreciated that they offered so many different options for different tastes. I purposely went during one of their busiest times—Friday evening—to see how they handled the crowd. There was a little bit of a wait, but I was seated fairly quickly. The quick tour was actually helpful because the buffet is massive and it gave me a better idea of where everything was before deciding what to try. Overall, the food was good, the experience was worth the price, and I’d definitely go back. Next time, I’d probably try lunch or a weekday evening when it’s a little less busy. Definitely worth experiencing at least once while in Vegas.
Bacchanal Buffet is one of the most well-known buffets in Las Vegas, and I really enjoyed the variety of food available here. What I particularly liked was how they had so many different food stations featuring cuisines from different cultures, making it easy to try a little bit of everything in one sitting. There is definitely no shortage of options, whether you prefer seafood, meat, or international dishes. The meat selections were a highlight for me. The bone marrow was rich and flavourful, the wood-grilled lamb T-bone had a nice grilled flavour, and the prime rib was another solid option for meat lovers. However, the seafood dishes were probably my favourite part of the entire buffet. The seared scallops were delicious, and the kimchi BBQ oysters were a standout with their bold, savoury flavours. These were the dishes I found myself wanting to go back for. Unfortunately, I found the dessert selection a little lacklustre compared to the savoury offerings. Given the reputation of Bacchanal Buffet, I was expecting more memorable desserts, but most of them didn’t particularly stand out. The exception was the Häagen-Dazs ice cream, which was a nice way to finish the meal. Overall, Bacchanal Buffet offers an impressive range of international dishes, with the meat and seafood selections being the biggest draws for me. Just don’t go in expecting the desserts to be the highlight of your meal!
All of the food was pretty good, especially the crab which is why we were there. They had at least 5 different kinds of shellfish. I was a little disappointed in the dessert. There was plenty variety, but the taste and flavor was just meh. Service could have been better with refills and taking drink orders. I would return just to try the other foods I was too full to try while I was there. All in all, we walked away with full bellies and were satisfied with the large plethora of food we were able to sample.
Price: $95 + tip This was hard to find until I got to the register. Other than the sticker shock at the register. Everything else was shockingly delicious. So much to try and you definitely won’t get to everything. However, I believe there is something for everyone. The value is great too if you’re into seafood, prime beef, and other high end foods. Dessert was great and our server was very attentive. Guests have 90 minutes to get in shape - a round shape - before the dinning experience concludes.
The food was good and there were plenty of options. The seafood and Japanese sections were the best! The “American” food was not great though. The turkey was very dry I could not finish it. Aside from this, it is overpriced. The Wynn hotel offers a buffet for a bit lower with significantly more seafood options and better “American” food. The dessert buffet was great. However, again, the Wynn offers a larger dessert buffet. The main station here is the crepe station (along with a plethora of small desserts). The Wynn offers the exact same crepe station (with the same small desserts) but with more flavor options and more dessert options. The Wynn also offers a s'mores station which is not present here. Overall food was fantastic but only 4 stars for the price compared to the other main dinner buffet here in Vegas. There was zero wait at 9 PM on Sunday. Otherwise, I believe a reservation is best as the lines can get long.
