Came here a couple of times for both brunch and dinner. Love this place, Great vibes both indoor and outdoor, enjoyable appetizers and pastries, and amazing g seafood items. But I do prefer the brunch over dinner here. They have private room for bigger group, we once have 12 and 8 this time. If the weather is beautiful, make sure you check out their patio seats by the pools. Some must orders here: Salmon dip - mixed salmon and other ingredients for you to eat with extra chirpy crackers. So good. The only other place can beat this is in Alaska! Try it!! Foie gras dip - so rich and creamy, addictive! You eat with freshly toasted bread stick. Crab egg Benedict - generous and fresh crabs with porches eggs with the hollandaise sauce, light but delicious. Seafood tower - no matter east or west coast oysters here, both are heavenly sweet and fresh. Steak and egg - the steak is not a crazy size as it’s brunch, but it’s definitely mouthwatering with great protein to start a day. And of course you can’t skip the pastry baskets here, especially the cronut. I’m not a big fan of muffins and brownie, but the blueberry muffins and brownie here are really nice and moist. If you stop by their bakery, also make sure you get the peanut butter cookies! The only thing not that great is probably the mocktails and latte. We tried 3 of them, not impressed.
I love French cuisine because food is an art form and the ambiance is usually a great experience. The ambiance and service here were excellent. The food was a little underwhelming and more sauce heavy than necessary. We had the Crab Benedict and the Croc Madame for our entrees and the smokes salmon as an appetizer with chocolate tart as a dessert. Everything was average but the smoked salmon was pretty good
We had great meal here. We decided to come as we were staying at the Venetian. It was a bit loud as there were some large parties and the room has large ceilings so noise can echo quite a bit. Sevice was a little slow initially, but picked up after a bit. I would say one of the best things about this restaurant is one the bread that they serve you initially, the butter, and also the jam. The server told us That the jam is made in house and they start the process every night. It is absolutely, 100%, delicious. If anything you have to go try this restaurant to try this combination. My husband had the lump crab hollandaise, and I had the Swiss and ham sandwich. Mine was OK. To be honest, the french fries or some of the best I have ever had in my life. My husband does not like french fries and he kept eating them off of my plate. His lump crab hollandaise was absolutely delicious and worth every penny. We also got the smoked salmon appetizer, which also was perfectly done and delicious. If we come back to Vegas and stay at the Venetian, we will definitely come back to this restaurant.
I am a huge fan of Thomas Keller who is the first chef in American history to have 2 Michelin star restaurants simultaneously. I have been lucky enough to eat at the French Laundry in the past and plan to eat at his NYC one when I get the chance. For this occasion I was visiting Vegas for my birthday weekend so I chose Bouchon because this is one of the three Keller restaurants that I have not been to yet. It’s located in the Venetian on the ground floor in a beautiful setting. The dining room is very large with high ceilings and the tables are fairly spread apart, which was really nice. Our server was extremely polite and everything that we ordered arrived fairly quickly. Pricing here is a little steep, but you do get great quality food in return. I started off with the Salad Lyonnaise and thought it was absolutely fantastic. It was one of the better ones that I’ve had in a long time and I even had other versions of it during this same trip and this one beat all of those. I followed that with the Eye of the Rib and thought it had a great flavor, but for $105 it was a very small portion and it took me about 7 or 8 bites to finish it. It did have amazing flavors, I just think that it was a bit steep price wise for the limited portion you get in return. Overall though I would highly recommend this restaurant and would stop in again next time I’m in Vegas.
Perfect food, as always. But a calm oasis amongst the people and over stimulation of Vegas was so very nice. Service was perfection. Proper European style service, not rushed, and yet then present when needed. Literally could not have been better in any way.
