I had an amazing experience at Wolfgang Puck’s CUT at The Palazzo. I made reservations for myself and my three boys while my wife was at her conference and we were seated right at 5pm exactly where I asked. The staff gave us a cozy corner area with a rounded couch that was perfect for the baby and away from other guests. The waiter was knowledgeable and friendly. I had the dry aged ribeye and it was out of this world. The dry aged flavor was perfectly evident and it was cooked over hickory fire without any overpowering smoke. The mid rare was perfect. The butcher was remarkable and that really made a difference. The modern sleek clean ambiance was beautiful and relaxing, reminding me of the room Richard Pryor asked for in Brewsters Millions. Overall the best steakhouse I have had in Vegas.
Saw the Wizard of Oz at the Sphere and stopped for dinner afterwards. Beautiful atmosphere. We were seated right away despite being early so that was nice. Kyle was our server and he and the whole team did a nice job. We started with a salad which was tasty but we asked them to hold the blue cheese and it still had it on the salad. They offered to replace it but we just picked around it. In the end they didn’t charge us for it which was nice. We both enjoyed the filet mignon steaks and they were seasoned and cooked perfectly. Our sides were the potato puree - very smooth but would have preferred a bit more flavor - and the creamed spinach which was tasty but a little too soupy. I liked it but wish it was less soup-like but a bit more texture. We tried the banana cream pie dessert and the presentation was great! The inside was less “cream” but more like a frozen/icy dessert which hid the flavor of the dessert a bit. Overall it was an enjoyable evening to celebrate Father’s Day.
We had reservations, we arrived a bit early, and we were greeted & sat promptly. Our server was patient with us as we decided what to order. Drinks arrived right on time as did the apps and entrees. From start to finish, service was great, the food was great, and we would eat here again and again. My wife loved the crab cakes and my steak was cooked to perfection. Don’t get me started on the tempura onion rings…delish!
Our servers were amazing with spot on recommendations. The steak, Japanese Wagyu, was the best I've ever had!! The Old Fashioned cart was a surprise and a very welcome addition as well as the amazing young lady who made the drinks!
The wife and I tried CUT by Wolfgang Puck. We started the evening with a half order of the Artisanal House made Bread Board with Vermont Butter. Our next course was their Maryland Blue Crab Cakes with Basil Pesto Aioli/ Marinated Tomato Relish & Basil. They were delicious but a little on the small side. My main entree was the 12oz Dry Aged Ribeye. I added the Spicy Red chimichurri sauce to add more flavor to the steak. My wife’s main entree was the 8oz Filet Mignon. We ordered one side to split which was the Wild Field Mushrooms that came with Shishito Peppers and Mirin. We finished the evening with the BCP Sphere dessert. A Banana Custard with Vanilla Wafers, Caramelized Bananas with Gold Leaf, WP Dark Chocolate Shell Melted Table side. Overall the atmosphere was carefree, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, The only reason I put four out of five for the food rating is the flavor of my steak was less than I expected. The spicy red chimichurri sauce definitely made it taste better.
