We decided to come here for their famous happy hour starting at midnight, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The value for the price you pay is incredible, and the food is truly top-notch. Everything we ordered was outstanding. The mussels were delicious, and the sauce was so flavorful that we ended up finishing every last drop of it like a soup. We also had the steak, which was cooked to absolute perfection—it had a beautiful char on the outside while remaining a perfect, juicy medium-rare on the inside. Beyond the amazing food, the atmosphere is fantastic. It was incredibly fun watching the bartenders craft their drinks behind the bar. You can really tell that they are passionate about their craft and genuinely love what they do. Overall, Herbs & Rye has great vibes, and we would love to come back on our next trip to Las Vegas.

We celebrated my birthday at Herb & Rye this past Saturday, and the food absolutely lived up to the hype. I ordered the Filet Mignon cooked medium, and it was incredibly tender and flavorful. My husband and son both ordered the Ribeye medium rare, and they were cooked perfectly. My husband said his steak was “tender as butter.” He also ordered the chimichurri, and it was so good I had to steal some! The sides were just as memorable. The Sprouts & Swine was hands down my favorite. The charred Brussels sprouts, thick-cut bacon, and generous Parmesan cheese were an amazing combination. The garlic mashed potatoes were creamy with just the right amount of garlic, and the asparagus had a nice fresh crunch. We also shared the Carbonara as an appetizer, which was delicious, and the Yard Bird & Risotto was rich, creamy, and perfectly cooked. The drinks were excellent too. My husband loved his Old Fashioned so much he ordered a second one. Our server recommended the Tequila Old Fashioned for me, and it ended up being one of my favorite cocktails of the trip. Service was outstanding. Every employee we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed happy to be there. Our food came out quickly, and we never felt rushed. The restaurant has a dim, intimate atmosphere. It was actually so dark that we had to use our phone flash for pictures, and our server even used a small flashlight while recommending drinks. It caught us off guard at first, but our eyes adjusted quickly, and it created a cozy steakhouse vibe. Even with a full dining room, the noise level was comfortable. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the wait. We didn’t have a reservation and were 7th in line for a walk-in. We weren’t given an estimated wait time, and although we moved up quickly at first, we ended up waiting about 2 hours to be seated. Since there’s no waiting area, we had to sit in our car in 115°(AC on, of course ) Las Vegas heat, which wasn’t ideal. Would I come back? Absolutely. Next time, I’ll just be sure to make a reservation. The food, drinks, and service made it well worth the visit.

Herbs & Rye completely lived up to the hype...and then some. I went based on a Lyft driver’s recommendation, and I’m so glad I trusted a local. From the moment we sat down, it was clear this place takes pride in every detail. The energy in the room said it all, every table around us was clearly enjoying their meals. We even spoke with someone next to us who works in the industry and was visiting for the first time because coworkers had been raving about it. After seeing their steak tartare, I honestly wish we had ordered it...it looked incredible. The food itself was outstanding. I ordered the flat iron and my friend had the New York strip, and both were cooked perfectly. I initially tried to order my steak in a way that wouldn’t have done it justice, but the bartender, Zach, steered me in the right direction, and I’m grateful he did. He was professional, thoughtful, and clearly passionate about both the food and the craft of hospitality. The parmesan garlic fries were next level, especially with the horseradish sauce, which was absolute perfection. Don’t let the exterior fool you, inside feels like stepping into a classic, historic steakhouse with an unmistakable atmosphere. We didn’t have a reservation but were lucky enough to grab seats at the bar right away. If you’re planning ahead, I’d definitely recommend making a reservation, or be prepared to wait and hope for a spot at the bar. Either way, it’s worth it!

I had a truly enjoyable dinner featuring the double-cut pork chop and the New York strip steak, and both were outstanding. The pork chop was thick, juicy, and cooked perfectly, with excellent flavor and tenderness throughout. The New York strip delivered exactly what you’d expect from a quality steakhouse cut—well-seared on the outside, rich and beefy on the inside, and incredibly satisfying. The French onion soup deserves special mention. It was deeply flavorful, with a rich, well-developed broth and a generous layer of melted cheese that complemented the sweetness of the onions perfectly. Comforting, indulgent, and clearly made with care. The atmosphere was another highlight—warm, relaxed, and very comfortable. It felt upscale without being stiff, making it easy to enjoy the meal at a leisurely pace. The overall setting, from the lighting to the table presentation, added to the experience rather than distracting from it. Overall, this was a memorable dinner with excellent food, a comfortable atmosphere, and dishes that clearly reflect attention to quality and execution. A place I’d happily return to for another great steak and that French onion soup again.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great experience and definitely a must-try if you’re in Las Vegas. The service was phenomenal. Monica and Ricky made sure I was well taken care of throughout the entire meal and provided some of the best service I’ve had in a long time. The atmosphere was one of my favorite parts of the evening. It’s cozy, intimate, and candlelit, making it a great spot for a date night or even a solo dinner. I tried my best to get good pictures of the food, but I didn’t want to disturb the tables around me with a flash. I highly recommend making a reservation. I was seated immediately upon arrival, which made for a smooth start to the evening. The restaurant was busy, so I’m not sure what the wait is like for walk-ins. For food, the Caesar salad was excellent and probably my favorite part of the meal. The beef tartare was good and something I was excited to try again after having it in Poland. While it didn’t quite bring back the same experience, I still enjoyed it. My ribeye was cooked to a perfect medium-rare, but I found it a little tougher and fattier than I expected given the restaurant’s reputation and price point. I’ve honestly had better steaks elsewhere. The garlic mashed potatoes were okay, but not a standout side for me. My only other complaint is the parking situation. Parking is extremely limited, especially during busy times. I noticed some people parking in the alley behind the restaurant because the lot fills up quickly. If you’re planning to visit during peak hours, give yourself extra time to find a spot. Overall, while every dish wasn’t a home run for me, the service, atmosphere, and overall experience absolutely were. I spent about $130 including tip dining solo and left feeling like I had a great night out. I’d definitely return the next time I’m in Vegas.
