Everything about our visit to Nobu was incredible. From the food, to the atmosphere, to the service, it was all amazing. Our server was Columbia and he seriously made our visit so much better, and our visit was already incredible! He guided us through the menu, page by page, and explained how the food was best served and eaten. Not one detail was missed. Watching all the servers work together to ensure tables stayed clean and food arrived promptly was impressive and all in all, there’s not one thing I would have changed. I won’t lie, I was worried that the small portions would leave both of us looking for dinner #2 after leaving, but we left feeling completely fat and happy. (I thought I took more pictures of the food but I guess I was too busy doing my happy food dance.) If you’re looking for cheap sushi, this isn’t it. But if you’re looking for a food experience, definitely try Nobu. Pictured are the Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna and Tuna Avocado Cilantro. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
Superb flavors, especially the legendary cod miso and tuna tartare. While the dishes are culinary perfection, the portions are small and the prices are steep. A fantastic splurge for the palate, even if it leaves your stomach (and wallet) feeling a bit light.
The yellowtail sashimi with jalapeño is the dish that begins most meals here and it remains the best single expression of what Nobu's kitchen philosophy is, clean fish with citrus and a precise amount of heat that enhances rather than covers. The black cod with miso is the other foundational order, the miso marinade working on the fish for long enough that the sweetness has penetrated the flesh entirely, arriving lacquered and tender with a depth that makes it the most distinctive fish preparation in Las Vegas. The rock shrimp tempura with creamy spicy sauce is the shared starter most tables add to whatever else is ordered, the shrimp properly light and the sauce adding just enough richness. The new-style sashimi with hot oil poured tableside is the order that most rewards first-time visitors who want to understand what the kitchen does beyond the classics. The sake selection is one of the more carefully curated in the city and worth exploring with the help of the staff.
I get the hype around this place the food was absolutely delicious, and it’s easy to see why it’s so popular. The crispy rice tuna was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, while the miso black cod was rich, tender, and expertly prepared. For dessert, the vanilla miso dessert was a standout, creamy, delicate, and a perfect balance of sweetness and umami to finish the meal. The ambiance and service also added to the overall experience, making it a memorable dining experience. I can definitely see why people make Nobu a must visit when in Las Vegas.
I recently dined at Nobu and overall had a great experience. We ordered the carpaccio, mushroom salad, butter fish, sushi, and the seafood broccoli medley, and everything was delicious. The carpaccio was fresh and delicately balanced, while the mushroom salad had great texture and depth of flavor. The butter fish was tender and melted in your mouth, and the sushi was clean, high-quality, and beautifully presented. The seafood broccoli medley was cooked perfectly and complemented the meal well. It was a little crowded at the time, which made the atmosphere feel busy, but the food more than made up for it. Overall, a very enjoyable dining experience and worth the visit. 🐟🍄🍣🥗
