Dined: 6/23/26 The service was top notch The ambiance was calm, with a lot to look at, while seated by the window looking down Fremont St. We shared our meal, which the they divided for us, evenly 😉 Wedge salad chopped, very good, fresh and satisfying. Lobster Mac and Cheese. This was very good, we would have appreciated more lobster, considering the $47.00 price tag. Mashed potatoes. They seemed to be box. Enough said. Oscar’s bone in rib eye. Pretty good. The creamy horseradish was Bomb. I put in on everything. lol Overall, this steakhouse was above average. No bad, not great. For example, At the bottom is Outback, top is Jean George and Golden Steer.

The dinner my partner and I had at Oscar’s was amazing. The ambiance was perfect and the wait staff specifically Kevin and Drago were amazing and very accommodating. I would really love to specially recommend both Drago and Kevin because of their great charisma and kindness. They both made a memorable night for me and my significant other. The food was great and we had such a wonderful time. We will be back again!

Oscar’s Steakhouse Plaza Hotel & Casino 1 Main Street Las Vegas, NV 89101 Big Boy Rating: ⭐⭐½ (2.5 Stars) The Big Boy Is Back! The Big Boy is back, and this time I stopped into Oscar’s Steakhouse at the Plaza Hotel & Casino in downtown Las Vegas. First, let me get this out of the way. My server, Manny, was absolutely 5 Stars. Friendly, attentive, professional, and exactly what every fine dining server should be. Manny deserved a much better kitchen to work with. Before coming here I watched the YouTube video featuring former Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman, for whom this restaurant is named. Either Oscar doesn’t know what a frozen single-serve steak from Sysco looks like, or he’s doing one heck of a sales job because his name is on the building. From the stale bread to the so-called dry-aged steak—which I sincerely doubt was anything special—this place was mediocre at best. Las Vegas has some of the greatest steakhouses in America. Oscar’s isn’t one of them. The bread arrived looking nice enough, but it tasted stale, like it had been sitting around waiting for tourists who wouldn’t know the difference. The Brussels sprouts actually had decent flavor, but I’ve eaten this exact side dish dozens of times around the country. These tasted like yesterday’s Brussels sprouts were pulled out of the walk-in, run through the salamander, sprinkled with Parmesan, and sent back out to the dining room. Now let’s talk about the steak. For the prices Oscar’s charges, I expected an outstanding piece of beef. Instead, what landed on my plate reminded me of what you’d expect from a mass-produced steakhouse supplier. As someone with extensive experience on the food procurement side of the business, that’s honestly how it struck me. Whether they call it dry-aged or not, it certainly didn’t eat like a premium dry-aged steak. This is a tourist trap, plain and simple. I can’t imagine many Las Vegas locals paying these prices on a regular basis when there are so many better options in town. And yes, I’m going to say it… The steak here was so subpar it made LongHorn Steakhouse and Outback Steakhouse look like Michelin-star restaurants. Big Boy Says… If you decide to eat at Oscar’s, ask for Manny. He’s five stars. The steak? Not even close. Overall Rating: ⭐⭐½ (2.5 Stars)

We had the most amazing experience at Oscars. After visiting Golden Steer and Cheri, this is hands down the BEST steakhouse in Las Vegas. It has everything you'd want in an experience. Top tier food and service with the old vegas lore. Bid Bad Chad is the manager, he was so gracious and made our experience the time of our lives. We were celebrating our anniversary and my husband's birthday, and BBC got a message for us on the hotel marquee! He also gave us a tour of Oscars office! Truly incredible! I can't thank him enough. I also have to give kudos to Nina our server, who was funny and fabulous! We started at the bar for happy hour, great deals and the shrimp cocktail and meatballs were delicious. For dinner we got crab cakes, the beets salad, filet mignon and rib caps Oscar style. The sides were also really good, the mashed potato were so creamy, we also had the mac and cheese, mushrooms, and asparagus. All were better than any sides I've had elsewhere. We are looking forward to going back again.

First time experiencing Oscar’s. It was a fantastic dining experience. Everything we ordered was so delicious. The meatballs were so soft and flavorful, probably the best steakhouse meatballs I’ve ever had! The mushrooms so flavorful, gooey yummy Mac and cheese. The steak and lobster, perfection. The service was top notch plus with a beautiful view of Fremont street was great. We are excited to come and dine again.
