I had to try SW Steakhouse after constantly seeing it ranked as one of the best steakhouses in Las Vegas. I booked my reservation well in advance and requested lakeside seating, hoping for the best. I was thrilled when we arrived at 6 PM and were seated exactly where I had hoped to be. The only downside was the heat. It was a 105 degrees out and dusk took much longer to arrive than I expected. We purposely spread out our meal so we could enjoy the atmosphere and hopefully catch the Lake of Dreams show. Thankfully, our server was incredibly patient and never made us feel rushed. We were able to see part of the show before leaving to make it to Awakening. My filet was cooked perfectly medium rare. I also enjoyed my salad and truffle fries. The short rib balls, however, were not for me at all. My sister ordered the scallops, which were cooked perfectly, but she wasn't a fan of the peas and beans that accompanied them and felt the dish need a sauce or something extra. After spending more than $350 for two people, we were pretty happy that the Lake of Dreams show was included with dinner! Between the beautiful setting, excellent service, and watching the cool singing frog that appeared in the show, we had an enjoyable time.
SW Steakhouse was such an amazing experience! Everything from the food to the service and atmosphere was outstanding. The steaks were cooked perfectly, and every dish we tried was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was exceptional—attentive, professional, and made the entire evening feel special without being overbearing. The ambiance is also incredible, making it a great place for a special dinner or a night out. We had such a great time and would definitely come back. SW Steakhouse is easily one of the standout steakhouse experiences in Las Vegas!
We were planning a romantic/ intimate dinner after our wedding so we choose the SW Steakhouse. We knew the price going into the restaurant. From the pictures it looked like the perfect fit but the experience was further from the truth. It was so cramped and loud. The atmosphere for what you pay was terrible. We couldn't even hear each other talk to one another. Extremely loud. The service was okay. I know they were trying but since the restaurant allowed such a high occupancy the staff couldn't keep up. The food was okay but absolutely not enough worth the price we ended up paying. We have eaten great fine dining for way less and have had a better over all intimate experience. By the time the food came and ate some (an hour and a half after seating), we had to leave to get out of there. Not enjoyable at all.
SW Steakhouse was an incredible experience from start to finish! The food, atmosphere, and setting made for such a memorable dinner. We started with the crab cake, hamachi, and monkey bread — everything was delicious. For my entrée, I had the 12 oz filet, cooked perfectly, with sides of Lobster Gnocchi, corn, and potatoes. The Lobster Gnocchi was especially good and definitely worth ordering! For dessert, we finished with the Bananas Foster Cheesecake, and it was absolutely delicious — the perfect ending to the meal. 🍌🍰 Tip: Make a reservation for around 8 PM and request outdoor seating. Sitting outside overlooking the water while enjoying dinner and watching the show makes the experience even more special. ✨🌊 Beautiful atmosphere, amazing food, and such a quintessential Vegas dining experience. I would absolutely come back! 🥩🥂
Family style is the way to go at this fabulous steakhouse! Proportions are generous and the food is filling. Start slow! First of all, the service was absolutely phenomenal. It is rare to be taken care of at the level and attention that we were compared to other steakhouses. (We had a late reservation and the restaurant was not full). Atmosphere is typical Vegas, which was great, and the white tablecloths elevated the overall appeal of the dishes. We asked for the steak to be prepared medium. It was divine. The bone in ribeye had minimal fat, perfect texture, and melted in our mouth. The accompanying sides need little explanation - a picture is worth a thousand words. A word of caution: the sides are on the heavier side, and typical for a steakhouse. Ater reflecting on our meal, focus on salad, steak, and maybe two sides if your goal is to enjoy the steak for about 5 people. No need to overeat. (We were a group of 9, so the recommendation is with points of reference). At the end, I highly recommend the restaurant, especially if you're staying at the Wynn. Enjoy!
