Taylor saved me and this experience for my daughter (well she was clueless but . .). Ok, so yes it might seem pricy, but definitely worth budgeting for when coming to Vegas! The experience of doing something completely foreign, was super cool. Especially if you start with maybe the skid steer experience, that would give you a great gauge on your thoughts about spending more on the bigger considerations, so this was a great start... they also offer holiday discounts for future moments, something I'm considering! The machines are very easy to learn and though I cannot speak to the other staff, Allesandro did a great job working with the kid in both clearly dictating commands and expectations as well as keeping great energy. The other fella with another duo took a second to offer me a better standing view which was nice of him to take the time to do. The staff seem great and working with Taylor made it a great experience. I'm not quite sure how she could have helped make it "fine" if I had showed up as late as I thought i might have, but I'm sure we could have been given SOME time on the machine. Anyway, in my own personal panic causing us to run past our start time (punctuality is big for me so running late . . . 🤮) Taylor kept me calm and I was grateful for that. Also since my phone died I had no way to take photos/videos, but they do that for you. Not the greatest compilation (which maybe they can work on THAT???) But you know $35 for the digitals to be emailed was the best surprise (thought it was going to be $100+) Great great experience....yeah, if you're accepting spectator (i.e. parent) theres an area close by to watch and take photos.... its not luxurious by any stretch but it's a construction zone!....so . . . Check it out!
Our son celebrated his 14th birthday with a surprise 90min session of driving a skid. He loved it! The training and safety class was great. My husband and I were given a headset so we could hear all communication and give compliments... He made a piramid of tires and transported a huge load of dirt. It was awesome! They were also very hospitable with bottles of water, great pictures and a good viewing area.
My boys, ages 10 and 13, really enjoyed their time there. I wished I would have purchased the older one the skid steer package, because both wanted to drive not just work the excavator. It was super hot, but there was a lot of shade and even a little swamp cooler for the parents to enjoy while watching their kids have fun. Our guide, Max was awesome! Thanks for the fun dig! We "dug" our time there!
If you’re in Vegas and want to excite your kids with something off the beaten track take a short drive south from the strip and experience Dig This! We had a blast and our 10 year old daughter and 8 and 5 year old boys were thrilled. The two older ones were really frustrated that their time on the 6 tons came to an end. Even now my 8 year old speaks of this as a highlight of our west coast getaway and it’s no small feat, with some tough competition. All the staff members were extremely helpful, pleasant and just made our time at Dig This one to remember. I would especially like to thank Brian for instructing us and having tons of patience with the kids. You’re the best!
We brought our little boys here to dig with the excavator. It was a fabulous experience! The employees were so kind and great with the kids..they were so clear with their instructions and making sure everyone understood what they were doing. It is worth every dollar you spend here! Also, they took pictures for us and made sure we got the most out of our experience. We will definitely be going going back when our kids are older, so they can drive the skid steer.
