Made reservations a few weeks in advance before coming out to Vegas. It's about a 20 minute drive from the Strip and was easy to get a rideshare both ways. The check-in process was very smooth and easy. Plenty of nice cars to pick from with various number of lap options and a video package to capture all your drives. Once checked in, you'll attend an about 15 minute training session, quick picture, and then 2 ride along laps to become familiar with the track and cones. After that, you get fitted for your helmet and wait until your buzzer goes off. Now the fun part, instructors are very fun, friendly while giving you instruction and pushing your abilities. I drove the McLaren 570 and Ferrari 488. Both were a blast to drive. Track is about 1.3 miles, but has good mix of different turns and straightaways. I've done similar Extreme Driving Experiences, but these cars have pedals for the instructors, so felt like they let you push the cars a little harder which made a big difference. All the staff was very friendly and wanted you to have a great time.
If youre a person that craves adrenaline and making memories instead of blowing your money in a casino, this is your calling! I booked 7 laps in a Ferrari 488 Pista and 2 lap drift ride-along in the Dodge Charger Hell Cat with video recording add-on. The Ferrari I chose was apparently the quickest car on the lot. But I was also told with increasing maintenance/upkeep cost and how rare it is becoming to have this model, they will eventually be forced to remove it from the options! This vehicle has PLENTY of power to get on down the track and put everyone else's lap time to shame! I have no regrets picking this car. The drift car ride-along was cool and all, but I would've much rather put that money towards more laps in a car. I dont know if it was because I was the first ride of the day and the driver just wasnt warmed up/nervous, but I expected way more sideways motion than I got. To be fair, there is no separate drift track. The driver shares the same track as everyone taking laps. It just felt like we were taking normal laps with a little more perpendicular action in the major turns of the track. (Ive seen better drifting at an illegal street race) I wish there was a more track to go down. 7 laps on a 1.3 mile track goes quick! Although you still go MUCH faster than your everyday grocery getter, there's just not enough to REALLY open these cars up and show its true potential. My instructor "big mac" was great. Took full confidence in my driving and guided me where I needed it. No complaints there. If I find myself back in Vegas, ill most definitely visit again, but I'll be focused on more laps and potentially a variety of cars to drive! Take some time in the fast lane and visit Exotics Racing!
10/10. Great staff and facility! My kid drove 2 cars and husband did a ride along. They’re already planning what they will ride/drive next. They may talk me into the hellcat ride along - we’ll see. The kid (18) said this has by far been the funnest thing we’ve done on vacation and we’ve done some fun things!! He’s still riding that adrenaline high.
Crazy fun experience. I drove the C8 Z06. Not a track guy, but I love cars and had a great time flexing with my boys, and being competitive. They drove Hurrican STO. Pops won today with the Z06. Sam was my copilot professional driver for both drives. Much thanks to his coaching!! I learned a ton and was able to shave off five seconds on my second drive, and finished just more than 1 Minute lap time. Sure hope it’s not once in a lifetime. Hope I’m here next year. If you want to really push, Sam is your man. I mostly really enjoyed the time with my sons. And winning. 🤗
I came here to celebrate my 18th birthday, and man was it incredible. I drove the Mercedes AMG GTR and the 992 Porsche 911 GT3 RS. The Mercedes was an absolute blast to drive, but the GT3 RS blew me away. The grip, sound, and overall experience was beyond anything I could have imagined. My coach for both cars was Bk. He did an amazing job teaching me how to drive the cars. He helped me learn how to corner faster and hit the straights in order to get faster and faster lap times. Bk helped me push myself and the cars to the limits(safely), ensuring I had the best experience possible. If you will be driving a higher performance car, I found it very beneficial to drive a lower end car first to warm up to the track. I very highly recommend Speed Vegas to anyone considering coming here. Well worth the money.
