Canyon helicopters, Mojave UTV tours, and kayak outfitters often separate NPS/Tribal park entry fees ($15–$35) and fuel surcharges from advertised base seat fares.
A Great Family Experience with Amazing Views Our family visited the Grand Canyon West Skywalk during our trip to Las Vegas, and it was one of the highlights of our vacation. Pictures don't do the Grand Canyon justice. Seeing it in person is absolutely breathtaking. Walking onto the Skywalk was exciting, and looking through the glass at the canyon below was a unique experience. We also enjoyed exploring Eagle Point and Guano Point, taking family photos, and simply soaking in the incredible scenery together. My only real disappointment was that I wish the Skywalk extended farther out over the canyon. It felt shorter than I expected, and I think it would have made the experience even more thrilling if it reached farther beyond the canyon's edge. Even with that minor complaint, we had a fantastic time and made memories we'll never forget. The staff was friendly, everything was well organized, and the views alone make the trip worthwhile. If you're visiting Las Vegas and looking for an unforgettable family adventure, I'd definitely recommend adding the Grand Canyon West Skywalk to your itinerary.
It’s crazy to think that the Grand Canyon is so large that we only visited the “West” side of it, which is also run by different people from the other sides of it. The main attraction of the west side is definitely the skywalk, this horseshoe-shaped glass walk that extends over the canyon. Definitely not for those with a fear of heights! The restaurant there serves quite good food as well and you’ll also find a souvenir shop. You’ll need to take the shuttle bus to get between the two viewing points. Overall a nice time here and still can’t believe that we managed to see a bit of the Grand Canyon!
The Grand Canyon West Skywalk is an unforgettable experience! Walking out over the edge of the canyon on a glass bridge is both thrilling and breathtaking. The views are absolutely spectacular and make for a once-in-a-lifetime memory. If you’re visiting Grand Canyon West, the Skywalk is definitely worth adding to your trip. It’s a unique experience you won’t find anywhere else and a must-do for anyone visiting the Grand Canyon.
The Grand Canyon West Skywalk Bridge continues to be an unforgettable destination, even as ticket prices have risen substantially since our last visit two years ago. One thing that makes the experience worth it is the unlimited time you’re allowed at both the Skywalk Bridge and Guano Point. There’s no rushing, no herding—just the freedom to soak in some of the most extraordinary views in the world. If you’re afraid of heights, you may want to think twice about stepping onto the glass bridge itself and save a few dollars. It’s an incredible engineering feat, but it’s definitely not for the faint of heart. For me, the true highlight of the trip wasn’t even the bridge—it was the nature walk out to Guano Point. The quiet, the stillness, and the sweeping panoramic views are unmatched by almost any place I’ve ever visited. It’s the kind of beauty that makes you slow down, breathe deeply, and really take in the moment. One important note: plan ahead. The drive from the main highway to the Skywalk area takes longer than you might expect due to distance and strict low speed limits. It can test your patience, but the best advice is simply to relax and treat the drive as part of the experience. Once you arrive, it’s absolutely worth it. And a helpful budget tip—everything near the Grand Canyon is pricey. If you’re trying to save money, pack your own lunch and drinks. Avoiding the restaurants can keep your day both enjoyable and affordable. Overall, the Grand Canyon West Skywalk Bridge offers breathtaking scenery and an unhurried experience that makes the journey more than worthwhile.
Beautiful place... the western Grand Canyon area is sublimely exquisite. The Skywalk itself is interesting... I'm really not afraid of heights but I still found myself stepping carefully on the clear parts of the glass! I also very much enjoyed Guano Point - gorgeous views from there! And all the staff were very nice and helpful. The only reason it's not a five-star review is that twice I was informed a place to eat would be open, only to find that is was in fact not. Overall, I'd go back again in a heartbeat and take more days to watch those beautiful sunsets and sunrises from the cabins!!
