Great for adrenaline seekers and the ride thar feels safest of them all at the top. The ride will accelerate you into the air then let you free fall for some seconds, then swing a few times until gou are taken down. Its not that scary. Keep in mind weight has to be balanced each throw so if all the people want yo ride facing yhe strip they will operate the ride 1 single person at a time or other people can balance the weight on the contrary seats and take turns. You can get tickets in advance on the website or purchase at the resort.

With 2 people or more this is a lot of fun, even if just to watch. We bought tickets on site, no real lines. Even the elevator was a trip. The top outside rides are great if you have that stomach, I was the picture guy, by choice! Looking out at the city even from the inside was great to take some shots and there's a bar for courage or after. Need a taxi to get there from most places.

A young friend and I went on this ride at the top of the Stratosphere when we visited Vegas recently. We enjoyed the thrill of being shot up from the top of the tower, and when we weren't going quite as fast, you could see the Strip from way up there. It is a fun ride, though over very quickly. One of the employees we ran into when we checked in at the top of the tower was not so friendly and didn't tell us where we were supposed to go. But the other one who got us seated was great.

This place should be crawling with people and it's empty! The observation deck alone is worth the trip. The Big Shot is the cherry on top. Next time we might do the jump experience.

Google Maps Review

The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod in Las Vegas, often referred to simply as "The STRAT," is a unique blend of entertainment, thrill, and comfort. As one of the most iconic landmarks in the city, it’s best known for its 1,149-foot-tall observation tower, the tallest in the United States, offering breathtaking 360-degree views of the Las Vegas Strip and surrounding desert. The SkyPod is a major attraction, featuring thrilling rides like the Big Shot, Insanity, and X-Scream, which are not for the faint of heart. For those seeking a more relaxed experience, the Top of the World restaurant provides a revolving dining experience with spectacular views, perfect for a memorable night out. The hotel itself is comfortable and caters to a range of budgets, though it may not offer the same level of luxury as some of the more upscale resorts on the Strip. The casino floor is lively and offers a variety of gaming options, though it’s smaller than some of its counterparts. One downside is its location at the northern end of the Strip, which can feel a bit removed from the main attractions. However, for those looking for a mix of adventure, views, and classic Vegas fun, The STRAT is a solid choice.
