Unfortunately, I can only give 4 stars this time, and the reason has nothing to do with the fountains themselves. The Formula 1 preparations had already transformed large parts of the area into a construction zone, with barriers, grandstands, detours, and traffic everywhere. In my opinion, Las Vegas is best avoided in September and October if you want the full Strip experience. Between the traffic jams and temporary structures, some of the city's charm gets hidden behind steel and concrete. That said, the Bellagio Fountains are normally a 5-star attraction. The fountain system features more than 1,200 water nozzles and shoots water up to around 460 feet (140 meters) into the air, all perfectly synchronized to music and lights. Even with parts of the viewing areas affected, the show was still impressive. Watching the water dance against the backdrop of the Bellagio remains one of the classic Las Vegas experiences. So, one star deducted for Formula 1 chaos, but the fountains themselves continue to be spectacular. On a normal evening, this would easily be a perfect 5-star stop. ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆

Wow this is what Las Vegas is all about. Massive shows with great music and changes throughout the day. This free show is wonderful to view and both day and night shows will provide a different and enjoyable experience. Day time will see rainbows and cooling mist. Evening & night includes a lightning show that accents the water Cannons. YES the rooms facing the strip have a great view of this BUT get down to ground level outdoors and experience the sights, sounds and music!!!
