Love the Durango already with all the choices of food at the food hall and restaurant! Concerts at the pool is chill relaxing if you get there early u can grab a chair in the pool to beat the heat a lil bit or go for a dip. Speaking of the pool. Its beautiful and the food menu has a lot to choose from. All the mixed event that's happening there is amazing for all ages. I really commend them for incorporating days for children. That way the parentd and child can have fun. The employees are friendly and helpful wherever you're at. Best this is their expanding by adding a huge country bar and dance hall. Thats where you'll catch me!
Beautiful new hotel, very clean, with great service! The pool is gorgeous, but lounge chairs are extremely limited despite a large turf area with plenty of space. Unless you pay extra for a cabana or daybed, finding a place to relax is difficult. The casino was fairly quiet, but there seemed to be plenty of nighttime entertainment. Overall, a great stay with room for improvement around the pool!
We really enjoyed our stay at Durango! One of the things I loved most was how open, airy and bright the casino feels. There is plenty of natural light coming in, which is such a nice change from so many casinos that feel dark and closed in. The staff was extremely helpful and the customer service was outstanding throughout our stay. The entire hotel and casino are very clean, modern and just a fun place to spend time. There are plenty of good food choices, and we really enjoyed the gaming as well. Our room was very quiet, the bed was comfortable, and we had everything we needed. Our only disappointment was the view. Our room was comped and we were on the 5th floor overlooking the rooftop, so there wasn't much to look at. That was a small negative compared with everything else we enjoyed. I also have to mention the valet service because it was terrific! They use a texting system to request your car, and every time we headed downstairs, our car was waiting for us by the time we got off the elevator. So convenient! Overall, Durango is clean, comfortable, modern and fun, with excellent customer service. We would definitely stay and play here again!
Beautiful casino. Easy access off the freeway. Sports-book is great, with huge TVs etc. In comparison to other Station properties, they have a long way to go in service, however. Long time station casinos customer, who can see that the service of bartenders and cocktail servers is just not as “top notch” as what GVR delivers. Perhaps with time.
It was a perfect experience for a staycation until we went to the pool this morning. We were informed by the staff that the washing machine broke so there was no towels. We had just checked out of our room with the intention of using the pool for the day and they suggested if we wanted we could go back to our room and get towels otherwise we would not have any towels to use. If someone who has worked in the hospitality industry for more than 30 years I was surprised at the dismissiveness of The Clique Hospitality staff members. I learned that the pool was managed by them and not station casinos. I have a hard time believing Station Casinos would not have found alternative towels to hand out to guests. I suggested since we were checked out of our room perhaps housekeeping at the hotel could provide them for us. Fortunately that solution seemed to work and guests coming into the venue now will have towels until the washing machine gets fixed. Unbelievable the lack of customer service and the indifference by the staff. We actually felt condescended to.. Things have definitely changed. This would have never happened to years ago.
