Guest reviews & verified fee notes for Vdara Hotel & Spa
Mandatory Las Vegas resort fees ($45–$55/night) are taxed at the full 13.38% Clark County hotel tax rate on top of base room rates, plus daily parking and check-in card holds.
I stayed at the Vdara for a week during a business trip to Las Vegas and had a very positive experience. The rooms are extremely spacious, very clean, and equipped with all the comforts you could need. My junior suite also had a beautiful view of the Bellagio fountains, which was a great bonus. The bathroom was huge, with both a shower and a bathtub, and the bed was extremely comfortable. There was also plenty of closet space to store clothes and luggage. The junior suite was well designed and divided into two separate areas – a bedroom and a living room – both equipped with their own TV, which made the stay even more comfortable. The hotel lobby is a bit minimal and not as flashy as many other Las Vegas hotels, but one very positive aspect is that there is no casino inside the property. This makes the environment much quieter and more relaxing. The price is consistent with the overall experience, and I would definitely recommend Vdara for anyone looking for a more relaxed stay in Las Vegas.
There seems to be a HUGE communication issue with the hotel. Issues and requests are not passed on from one staff to the next. And when we call to repeat the request, we are told that there was no note made. It took three whole days for cutlery and crockery to be delivered. On the first day they said they would remove some resort fee for a day. The second day the same thing was said. When we asked about the first set of fees to be removed, they said that that was nowhere to be found. I asked for dish soap three times. Still not here. On my arrival several drinks were noted to be missing and we mentioned it to front desk. They said they made a note of it and will stock it back and we wouldn’t be charged. Those slots are still empty . I better not be charged for anything in here. House keeping came this morning and we told them that we were leaving and would be out in ten minutes. Four hours later, they have not returned. The hotel is a joke. The location is nice. The room is nice. Front desk seem like nice people and even make extra offers. But the offers never come through. They are just a bunch of sweet talkers who leave no follow up notes for the next shift. Nor do they follow up to see if requests were made. Unbelievable. I don’t think I will stay here again. They are like headless chickens unfortunately.
Lovely spacious room. Perfect location. 1000/10 views! The room was clean, smelled nice. Everything worked well. The only thing I would change is the amenities - having a basic kit with Qtips and make up removing pads in the bathroom should be a standard. We had to call 3x for them and waited a few hours. Apart from that, we had a great time. Check in and check out as very smooth. We had a very friendly butler and housekeeping staff. Nice pool area. The perfect location
Beautiful rooms in RESTORE; upgraded bedding, kitchenette, deep tub and shower head's also upgraded. $18/2 cups of keurig coffee is Vegas style as was $40 daily valet parking. $27 to self park at Aria and walk over was silly. Once you're in room elevators are close by. Love that. $25 in-room ribeye nachos saved our life but cost $45+ after fees/taxes/tips but it was late, we were starving. Bar on 1st floor easy $50+/round of 2. I love that V'dara's connected to Cosmopolitan and Bellagio. You need your key to access elevators and security asks for it like Costco does. Lol. Very comfortable clean quiet stay. Like a studio apt. Desk, sofa, side chair. Great when you're working from out of town; friends can visit and be comfortable. Gym was packed at 630am.
Absolutely beautiful hotel with good sized room and a nice kitchenette. We had a view of the fountains at the Bellagio as well as the sphere. There is a partial wall with a desk between the living room and bedroom, which has a tv on each side so that was pretty cool. The couch had a pullout bed. The cleaners did such an amazing job when we stepped out during the day. They don't have a casino, which was pretty cool since we don't gamble. Plenty of food options nearby and just a short walk from the other casinos. Highly recommended.
