We are French travelers visiting Las Vegas, and we wanted to share the wonderful experience we had at the Waldorf Astoria. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a hostess whose kindness truly stood out. Unfortunately, I can no longer remember her name, which I sincerely regret, because I would have loved to thank her personally in this review. Her welcome was exceptional: she was smiling, warm, attentive, elegant, and extremely professional. She immediately made us feel comfortable and gave us a wonderful first impression of the hotel. Her kindness and genuine hospitality truly made an impact on us. This is exactly the kind of welcome that makes all the difference and makes you want to come back. We sincerely hope she may recognize herself in these words, as we wanted to thank her from the bottom of our hearts for her warm welcome and thoughtful attention. The Waldorf Astoria is a beautiful property, fully deserving of its reputation, but it is also the people who work there who make the experience so special. We will definitely return with great pleasure the next time we are in Las Vegas. Once again, a huge thank you to this wonderful hostess for her exceptional welcome. Two very happy French guests!
Just excellent. Really great rooms with a separate bath and shower with a very decent sized room. The hotel is beautiful as well with the design super aesthetically pleasing. The biggest draw of this hotel is that it doesn't have a casino and is non smoking, which is rare on the Strip and definitely a plus. The location is probably it's strongest asset, which is saying something considering everything is so good about this hotel. Right there for T-Mobile arena and near the F1 paddock and turns 14, 15, and 16. It also has a house car (BMW 7 series) which is super helpful if you want to get dropped off somewhere on the strip. The strip view rooms are so nice and the restaurant has amazing floor to ceiling windows with views of the strip. The tea time was another highlight and something that you should definitely try if it's available. The pools are on the small side, especially for Vegas, but like everything else here, it's quality over quantity. Secluded dual infinity pools with a jacuzzi and views of New York, New York, the Aria, and Caesar's Palace. This is definitely one of, if not the best, hotel in Las Vegas and definitely recommend.
This was my fourth visit to Las Vegas, but my first stay at Waldorf Astoria, and after this experience I honestly cannot imagine staying anywhere else. We booked directly through the hotel website, which I would absolutely recommend. From the very beginning, the experience felt personal and genuinely attentive. Shortly after booking, the concierge contacted us and did everything possible to make sure our stay would be exactly what we wanted. We stayed in a King Strip View room on the 18th floor, and the view was absolutely fantastic. The room itself was beautiful, spacious and extremely comfortable. The bed was wonderful, with Frette linens and some of the best pillows I have ever slept on. The bathroom was equally impressive, with Aesop products, a bathtub, separate shower and two sinks. There was plenty of wardrobe space, fresh water waiting for us every day, and something I especially appreciated in Las Vegas: both tea and a Nespresso machine in the room. Housekeeping was impeccable throughout our stay, with an additional afternoon service as well. Anything we needed was brought to the room within minutes. The team also prepared a lovely little surprise for us in the room, which was such a thoughtful touch and something we truly appreciated. Service was consistently warm, professional and genuinely friendly, from reception and concierge to housekeeping and every other interaction we had. The location is also excellent. You are right in the centre of the Strip, but without the feeling of staying in one of the enormous casino hotels where it can take 15 or 20 minutes just to reach the street. Waldorf Astoria feels much more discreet and calm, while still being incredibly convenient. CVS and Target are nearby, many places are within walking distance, and taxis are available directly in front of the hotel, so there is no need to walk a long distance to a rideshare pickup point. I would also absolutely recommend visiting Peacock Alley on the 23rd floor. It is a beautiful space and another reason to simply enjoy spending time inside the hotel. This was, without question, my best hotel experience in Las Vegas so far. Thank you to the entire Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas team for making our stay so special. The attention to detail, the service and the overall feeling of the hotel made a real difference. I am already looking forward to coming back. From now on, this is definitely my first and only choice in Las Vegas.
Loved my stay here, from the valet to the spa concierge, everyone here is exceptionally professional and welcoming. The room was immaculate and we especially enjoyed the cocktail lounge and pool. Can’t wait to go back!
Overall, a fabulous experience. From the moment we rolled up to the moment we drove away, all staff interactions were exceptional. This is the gold standard for how hotels should operate. HH status and AMEX afford great perks as well! The WA offers a much-welcomed escape from the chaos of the strip.
